Refund Policy
Effective 2026-10-30. Applies to every one-time tool unlock sold on 0saas.
Short version: every purchase on 0saas is a single one-time charge — there is no subscription to cancel. If an unlock doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase and you'll get one, no questions asked. Once Stripe processes the refund, the device-level unlock is revoked automatically.
Why there's no "cancel" button
0saas does not sell subscriptions. Every unlock is a single Stripe one-time Price, charged once, with no recurring billing set up anywhere in the system — this is a deliberate design choice (the project calls it the "Law of No Rent": readers keep what they already built even if 0saas disappears). Because nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel; the only transaction to reverse is the original purchase, which is what this page covers.
The policy
| Window | 14 calendar days from the date of purchase |
|---|---|
| Reason required | None — "it didn't do what I needed" is a valid reason |
| Refund method | Stripe reverses the original charge to the original payment method |
| What happens to the unlock | Revoked — see "How the unlock is actually revoked" below |
| Partial/prorated refunds | Not applicable — purchases are single fixed-price, one-time charges |
How to request one
- Open an issue on the public GitHub issue tracker (today's only monitored contact channel) titled "Refund request" and include the tool name and, if you have it, the Stripe checkout session id or receipt email.
- You'll get a response and the refund will be issued in Stripe, typically landing back on your statement within 5-10 business days (Stripe's own processing time, not something 0saas controls).
How the unlock is actually revoked
This is not a manual promise — it's built into the verification code. The unlock-verification endpoint (/api/verify-unlock) re-checks every held device unlock against Stripe roughly every 7 days; a refunded, disputed, or otherwise un-paid charge causes it to answer refunded / disputed / unpaid, and the in-browser runtime releases the unlock on that answer, automatically, without anyone editing a database by hand (there is no database). If you need it revoked sooner than the next automatic check, say so in your refund request and it can be forced immediately.
What doesn't change when you get a refund
The prompts themselves are never behind the unlock — they're printed on the page for free, with or without a purchase, and a refund does not and cannot take anything away that was free in the first place. A refund only reverses the one-time convenience-feature charge (the in-page renderer or export unlock, specifically).
Disputes and chargebacks
If you file a chargeback with your card issuer instead of requesting a refund directly, the same automatic revocation applies once Stripe reports the dispute — but please try the issue tracker first; it's faster for you and avoids your card issuer's dispute fee entirely.
Changes to this policy
Any change that makes this policy stricter will not apply retroactively to a purchase already made under the version shown at the time of that purchase. The effective date above will change whenever this policy is updated.
